IRINEU DESTOURELLES

I work predominantly with moving-image, drawing, and writing, and also with painting. I am driven by ongoing uneasiness that emerges from a lack of rootedness. Works reflect my black, creole and diaspora sense of being. I was born in the Cape Verde islands and I am currently based in Glasgow.
