A photograph taken two years after Destourelless moved with his family to Lisbon from Cape Verde, is in process of undergoing disfiguration into something monstrous. The accompanying soundtrack incorporates manipulated sounds from popular songs by diaspora Cape Verdean musicians, along with extracts from dialogues found in Portuguese and English colonialist films.
